Thomas Development serves its clients on a contract basis and is generally the companies contact with the public as we acquire oil and gas properties, research courthouse records to determine ownership and prepare necessary reports, locate mineral and surface land owners, negotiate oil and gas leases and various other agreements, obtain the necessary curative documents before drilling, and due diligence examinations required in the purchase and sale of companies and properties.

Thomas Development, through its principals and contractors, are current members of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), the Houston Association of Professional Landmen (HAPL), the Lafayette Association of Professional Landmen (LAPL) and the Louisiana Oil & Gas Association (LOGA).
